How to create a 'Good Vibration' Board

You've probably heard of Vision Boards, but what's a 'Good Vibration' board?

Last week I headed to the Lycée Français International School in Dublin for a workshop with a difference - we were creating 'Good Vibration' Boards to help bond the group and share memories of the past academic year.

You may have heard of Vision Boards, where you make a collage of images and words that relate to things you want to achieve in future, but 'Good Vibration' Boards are collages of things that make you happy, in the past, present and hopeful future.

The concept for this came to me when I was thinking about the fact that we often have to be our own cheerleaders, lifting ourselves up if we've had a bad day or are feeling anxious or blue. Sometimes just thinking positive can be a difficult thing to do, but when you have a visual representation in front of you, it's much easier to lift your mood (and much harder to argue with!)

The students were so enthusiastic, and created some wonderful boards celebrating the people, experiences, achievements, and small everyday things that make them happy - with a few wishes for the future thrown in there too. I love how art can be such a useful tool to aid our exploration of mental health, to discover more about ourselves and our lives, and for us to bond with each other too.

Want to make your own? I have a handy tutorial here on YouTube! And don't forget to share your creations with me. https://youtu.be/wTAkJDjek8Q
